El Dorado High School Student of the Month is William Obiozo. Will is the son of Albert and Nicole Obiozo. He plans to attend Duke University to major in Biology and Pre- Medicine, with the intentions of being an Orthopedic Surgeon. He is involved in basketball, soccer, Quiz Bowl, National Honor Society, FBLA, Steering Committee, Student Council and volunteers to referee soccer for the Boys and Girls Club. His teachers and coaches praise him for his leadership, willingness to learn and help others. Coach Mullins says, "Will is the walking talking example of what the Wildcat Way is supposed to be like."
EHS Classified Employee of the Month is Brecken Perry. Brecken graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelors in Communications and is starting her 18th year with El Dorado School District. When she is not working she enjoys time outdoors with friends and family. Brecken's official title at EHS is Academic Affairs Coordinator and she does a fantastic job at organizing opportunities for our students to experience colleges and trades while in high school but what she does for staff at EHS you can't put a title on.
EHS Teacher of the Month is Alyssa Bean. Alyssa is a 10th grade English teacher. She graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fort Smith and has been with the District for 7 years. Her co-workers said, "Alyssa is a pillar of our school. She builds strong relationships, masters every skill, and checks off every task on a to-list. She is constantly looking to uplift others and support her co-workers and students." It is evident that Ms. Bean has a heart for serving others and making EHS a better place for her students and fellow teachers.
