State testing season is approaching, and it's crucial for parents and guardians to support their children in preparing for the upcoming assessments. To assist you in this process, we've created a video featuring students from the El Dorado School District as they practice and prepare for the ATLAS state test.
Watch the Video Here:
The ATLAS (Arkansas Testing and Learning Assessment System) end-of-year summative assessment is designed to evaluate all Arkansas public school students in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science. Additionally, students in grades 9 and 10 will take end-of-year exams for ELA, and end-of-course exams will be administered for Algebra I, Geometry, and Biology.
How Parents Can Help:
Encourage regular study habits and provide a quiet, dedicated study space.
Review practice materials and past assignments with your child.
Ensure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast on test days.
Maintain open communication with teachers to address any concerns or questions.
By working together, we can help our students feel confident and prepared for the upcoming ATLAS assessments. Watch the video and join us in supporting our students' success!
